Any player who plays 7s for Ireland can’t get a visa for the us, Canada or Japan unless it’s a tier one contract.

Couple of Leinster lads were due to move to Japan but the visas fell through because of their 7s caps.

It is struggling everywhere at moment crowd on decline etc. An absolute shambles of a decision from the IRFU
hiding behind a fucking deficit and they absolutely rolling in it

Correct. They are not. This deficit was announced last year and is for 23/24 and is linked to cost of RWC and loss of some autumn internationals etc
in the same financial statement they announced they had cash or equivalents of 70m and zero debt

It’s a shitty rule if your using it as a pathway to fifteens it should be able to stand alone and it costs fuck all in the greater scheme of things
