The Barclays Premier League™ 2014/2015

This must be what it’s like to be a villa fan

Martinez trading off Moyes team

Carragher is rightly lauding Lucas Leiva here. 1 defeat in their last dozen or so games - away to Manchester United - and that’s when Rodgers left him out.

This reminds me of the time TFK legend @ClarkeyCat didn’t take a penalty in a shoot out because @Rocko wanted to take one, which he subsequently skied (think higher, no higher still).

Tony Pulis is an unbelievable manager, even better than Alan Pardew. 4 points from 6, no goals conceded.

No Costa, no Fabregas, hup :pint:

Diego Costa has been officially banned for three games after being found guilty of stamping on the Liverpool defender Emre Can and will now miss Saturday’s title showdown against Manchester City.

The Football Association said in a statement: “Diego Costa will serve a with immediate effect after a charge of violent conduct against him was found proven by an independent regulatory commission on Friday 30 January 2015.

“The Chelsea forward had denied the charge in relation to an on-field incident involving Liverpool’s Emre Can which occurred in the 12th minute of the League Cup semi-final second leg at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday 27 January 2015.

“The incident was not seen by the match officials but caught on video.”

Costa was accused of deliberately stamping on Can though the Spain striker was spared an additional charge after the FA ruled that a second, alleged stamp on Martin Skrtel was accidental. His manager José Mourinho argued after the game that the flashpoints had been “absolutely accidental”.

Costa, who has scored 17 goals in 19 league games after joining Chelsea for £32m, is likely to be replaced by Didier Drogba for the Saturday evening title showdown at Stamford Bridge. He will now miss the matches against City, Aston Villa and Everton.

Chelsea went into lockdown following the incident with Mourinho cancelling the media conference he was due to hold on Friday to preview the match against City.

Mourinho was fined £25,000 on Wednesday morning after the FA ruled he had overstepped the line in claiming there was a “campaign” against Chelsea and, later in the day, the governing body brought the charge against Costa, following Tuesday night’s stormy Capital One Cup semi-final against Liverpool, which Chelsea won.

Fucking fantastic, glad to see that dirty cunt Costa get banned. He has been getting away with a ton of shit all season.

I see United love their fans

Ian Darke and Michael Owen are creaming themselves on BT Sport about “Howard Webb’s World Cup Final Assistant Referee Darren Cahn” spotting some Hull chap fisting the ball into the net. Goal disallowed and yellow card awarded.

Remy Cabella has Newcastle 1-0 up after he brilliantly fired home with his left foot.

John Carver’s black and white army.

3-0 up late on at Hull.

Cabella, Ameobi and Gouffran with the goals.

Steve Bruce is now officially embattled and under pressure.

It wasn’t very subtle but they sure thought it was a magnificent spot from Mr Cahn. Thought Elmohamady did a good job of feigning surprise when it was ruled out but he needed to extend that pretence to putting some disguise on fisting the ball home.

Costa is a flat track bully and won’t be seen when the going gets tough on the run in or in Europe. I’m willing to be quoted on that come the end of the season.

Newcastle Carve up Hull.

Two assists for Stephen Ireland today. Might be time to check on the well-being of his grannies again

A hat-trick for Jonathan Walters today.

It’s been said many times, The ROI will not win major honours without Stevie Ireland.

Manchester City are playing the better football at Stamford Bridge and have had a couple of chances. I’ve to leave this game at half time but I predict it’s the type of one where Chelsea will find a way to scrape a 1-0 win without playing well.

Kompany, ffs sake… what was he at?

red rover at the bridge, Vincent Kompany is an absolute clown, I cannot understand how he is so highly rated

Kompany pulled his leg out of that. More fearful of an og than interested in cutting out the danger.

Clichy was some pussy to get bumped out of the way by Willian in the lead up to the goal.
