If Arsenal maintain their current points average for the rest of the season they will finish on 73 points.
That’s just a standard season for them. Wenger is an utter fraud. Is he now the highest paid manager in the league, despite having failed to win a league title in 11 years? The Specialist In Failure indeed.

The lowest points winning EPL total was Man U in 1996/97 with 75 points. Newcastle, Woolwich and Liverpool all finished on 68. Could be looking at a similar title winning points total this season.

Agreed. He did win three league titles in his first 7/8 years but has completely lost his touch for the best part of a decade and it doesn’t look like it will return. A case of a manager that’s too arrogant to recognise his shortcomings and face up to what’s patently clear to just about everyone else, that he’s well past his sell by date, regardless of glories long past. An employer that’s too timid to stand up to him as well doesn’t help matters. I’m struggling to think of a comparative in any sport. Maybe, Mickey Harte with the Tyrone footballers.
Mickey Harte just won his 5th McKenna Cup in a row last night. The only year Harte has failed to win a trophy with Tyrone is 2011.
Arsene Wenger has won the FA Cup the last two seasons. The six FA Cup wins he has presided over are more than any manager in the history of the game.
