The Barclays Premier League 2015/16™

Bobby Martinez, John Stones and Everton having an excellent week.

3-0 up away to Stoke.

John Stones absence seems to have helped Everton’s form.

Puts the United win in perspective, Stoke are an absolute shambles.

Good enough for that Hughes prick

Some foot for one foot.

Have a look at your own logic. DB said not one good team in the premier league and they wouldn’t be winning any other league. and you come in with some sound logic showing all the other leagues have at least one good team in them?

City under Pellegrini generally don’t beat the big sides. In 7 games against Top 6 this season, they’ve W 0 D 3 L 4.

If you look at the top 7 from last year plus Leicester, City have only taken 8 pts from 8 games so far. Meanwhile Leicester from 10 games have 16 points and even United from 9 games have 15 points.

cheers for that info

When Mancini was at City, they invariably did well against the better sides but tripped up against the lesser lights. Its the other way around with Pellegrini.

Instances of people or teams shitting themselves seem to arouse you strangely.

With eight of those nine matches played, Leicester have taken 15 points from 24, an exceptional effort.

After next week’s match away at Arsenal, their next nine matches look considerably easier, in fact it looks to be a tremendous run of fixtures, with six of the nine at home. Strangely, of late their only slip ups have been in their two easiest games - only drawing with Bournemouth and Aston Villa.

Feb 27 - Norwich (H)
Mar 1 - West Brom (H)
Mar 5 - Watford (A)
Mar 14 - Newcastle (H)
Mar 19 - Crystal Palace (A)
Apr 2 - Southampton (H)
Apr 9 - Sunderland (A)
Apr 16 - West Ham (H)
Apr 23 - Swansea (H)

It’s very much on.

And Mahrez missed penalties in those draws against Bournemouth and Villa. They could be home and hosed already.

Atletico Madrid are level at the top of La Liga with 51 points from 23 games

Teams at the bottom of the table are awkward this time of the season. What you really want is the likes of a Stoke, who’ve downed tools for the season after elimination from both Cups within 4 days. Mind you from that list Watford, Crystal Palace and possibly West Brom fall into that category.

Like Liverpool two seasons ago, big plus for Leicester is they’re out of everything else, so only 13 games left in their season. The sides from 2-5 are still competing on 3 fronts, in Man City’s case 4 fronts. Leicester’s lack of experience at the business end of the season has been cited, but they had to win key games from this time last season, albeit competing for a different prize and that could stand to them yet.

And how many games have the side they are level with played mate ??

Zouma has done himself a terrible mischief here. He’s howling in pain.

That was fucking horrific.

Oh that was good.

Lovely goal there from Lingard
