From what i know of the set up it was Kirby who really ran the show, and after the All-Ireland the players started acting the fool.
The players as a gro9up were a waste of time after that, i think thats common knowledge. He should stay off the paper though.

Whatever people say about Ritchie iâd have great respect for the man. He gave that job everything and wore his heart on his sleeve. Even though Kilkenny won the All-Ireland that year, i think 2007 will be best remembered for Limerick and Ritchie. He gave us some great dayâs out and letâs not forget all the great interviews and soundbytes! 
O Christ yeah, that was tv gold. As Dunph said too, Richie and Limerick provided great entertainment that summer. Shame the players fucked any chance they had of building serious momentum up last year.
