Eh, Iâm from Wexford. Wexford has an Opera House, Ergo, Iâm an urbanite, you bogger.

Kev was shiting on about being from bogger Cork by the Kerry border on the Lions thread yesterday. As an aside, I know threads evolve and go off topic a bit, like this one now, but I was keen to talk rugby football yesterday but the Lions thread was spoiled for me by Kevâs utterances about Kerry gaelic football. Also, the Cork Opera House isnât a patch on the Wexford Opera House. Finally, and to get back on topic, Wexford to beat the handicap against Dublin next week.

Bandage caught out badly here. Great stuff treaty_exile. Next heâll be saying that selling strawberries on the side of the road is the hallmark of high culture.
Kevâs area of West Cork has hosted the Eurovision Song Contest. Itâs generally agreed that it was the most successful and the best Eurovision ever, long before the days that block telephone voting in far flung Eastern European states ruined the great competition. That glorious night in 1993 Millstreet, with the help of Irish legends like Niamh Kavanagh and Johnny Logan, proudly took centre stage across the continent. That is the type of cultural cachet that Wexford can only dream of and as a Eurovision fanatic Bandage knows this. You lose Bandage.
apologies, this is on at 7.15 p.mâŚguarenteed to be better than the wexford v kildare match
One of the lads on KKcats is reporting that Hickey pulled up in training with hamstring trouble. Good godâŚ
Apparently Kav and Lyng should be OK.

Hardly matters. KK could have half their squad out, they will still go all the way.
I donât buy into this at all, no doubt they have some very good hurlers in reserve but the majority of them are completely untested in championship hurling, just look what happened them V Galway in 2005 when they lost HickeyâŚ
I agree. Kilkenny have maybe a handfull of key players who they cant go without, Hickey is no 1 on that list. The rest can be interchanged without much of a difference.
Turenne, Iâm sure you donât really believe that.
With Hickey we are rock solid.
Without we are there for the taking.
He is our most important player.
Eh, iâm not from that part of the world at all. I just know the area and some people on both sides of the border.
I canât comment on your opera house as i have never been there.
Why youâd be ashamed of being from the country though bemuses me. Being an urbanite in Wexford means your a townie, nothing else.

Breaking news: âBandage is a townie cuntâ
Iâm not sure if the Lory Meagher Cup warrants its own thread but Iâm drawn to the scoreline from Carrick-on-Shannon yesterday:
Leitrim 1-14 South Down 2-14
I read unconfirmed reports that the Leitrim squad were in the bookies beside the ground watching the racing and placing a few bets less than an hour before throw-in.
Shocking disrespect to Lory Meagher.
Any opinion on Tony Considines suggestion of moving the Galway KK match to Thurles next Sat and having a double header with Limerick Waterford game? As a Leinster man, you donât want to see matches moved outside the province (even though its been done before) but if it helps promote the game then I think they should go for it. Its the kind of double header that would attract a lot of neutrals as well youâd have to imagine.
Itâs a bit short notice. Tony shouldnât be allowed to suggest anything until he finds out who the Waterford manager is.
A cunt if ever ther was a cunt!!
