If you do go there, you would be better off eating out rather than in the hotel

Portmarnock Hotel is probably the nicest hotel. And right on the beach which is lovely. But not much else to do besides the beach in the vicinity. Itās a 5 minute stroll to see a house which reconstituted its gable end as a primary entrance for planning purposes but thatās maybe a 3 hour visit tops.
Grand isnāt as nice but right in the heart of Malahide which gives you pubs and restaurants etc.
