The best place to buy Dvds online?

anyone have any decent websites where i could find boxsets to buy online chaps?

play.com or cdwow.ie, never had a problem with either, but Zavvi (old Virgin Megastores) have great offers on boxsets at the moment

I find Amazon.co.uk very very reliable. If I order stuff on a Monday then I have it on my desk in work on the Wednesday.

Play.com are good but twice packages never showed and I got sick of chasing them.

Do amazon still charge for shipping to Ireland? It used to bug me the way they did that.

I find that play are great, if it doesn’t arrive they send another pretty much hassle free

Amazon are fantastic. Their customer service is brilliant. Three times in the past I have had packages that have not arrived and Amazon have shipped out replacements no questions asked.

yes they charge postage but it’s not too much and it still works out cheaper than shops here.

I got Prime Suspect for 18 three months ago. Some muppet who works with me paid EUR 130 for it in Virgin around the same time. I had repeatedly told him about buying DVDs online but all I got was

‘I don’t really trust the internet for ordering stuff’

‘Why? Have you had a bad experience?’

‘No. Just wary of it’.

I guess everyone has their own preference for shops, I prefer Tesco to Dunnes :smiley: I remember years ago, now taht I think of it it was 8 years ago, I bought stuff off them and it cost a fortune in shipping, I don’t think I’ve ever bought off them since but I’ve heard great things about them
