Heād be way bigger in stature than Cyril Donnellan. Donnellan had good days, but his party piece was to catch the ball doing a diagonal run and then proceed to fall over no more than five strides later for no apparent reason.
Heās doing co commentary on GBFM now and heās comedy gold on it. Definitely another alright sort.

No doubt heās had a less productive day from time to time and he will never be in a GOAT discussion, to keep everyone happy lets just say he was a very physical player and would be my first recommendation should the GAA/GPA ever have requirement for media relations figure head/spokesperson.

I didnāt say it was. He was almost too tall for his own good. He had a very different skill set to fellas that are that height.
Yip, he was a finisher. But he lacked the work rate/physicality despite his height at intercounty level to ever be a target man/ball winner and was too static/lacked movement to get on the ball consistency. Great lad to take a score but there were days when having him could be like playing with 14. His size was a hinderance almost due to his style of play being at odds with it, would often get stick from his own āfansā when things werenāt breaking for him.

Ya Iād agree On that. actually heād a very unusual way of striking the ball too. I always wondered what length Hurley he used as Iād never seen a fella hit the ball like him?
He got a lot of injuries I think shortly after that. Is he even playing club ball now?
