He was excellent at underage and his first couple of years at senior. Injuries started then, doubt he went six months with some form of a hamstring/groin/quad/hip/back injury from 2011 onwards.
Completely finished with any sport by 27 due to them.

He wasnāt a bit drinker, cerebral enough chap. Think there was an issue with a money making venture he had in UCC which involved alcohal which may be where the rumour came from.
You could say that about most of Clonlara to be fair

He had more hurling than heās given credit for, played to a very high standard at wing forward, to an acceptable one centre back. I donāt think a mullocker could do both
