If they leave now there’ll be a hard border on their island. Now that would be funny
There’s actually fcuk all roads across the scotch border.
I reckon they’ll go if they get a vote.
Does this have any actual significance?
They are passing a law to allow them to break the law. It’s quite significant as it undermines any ability to negotiate with the British in good faith and to sign any agreement with them.
I meant it more in the sense of losing the Lords vote. Can they still carry on regardless?
Seems to be significant reluctance within elements of the Tory party about it tbf
That can, but with the tide turning there is a slightly greater chance of what’s left unpurged of a moderate Tory rebellion in the commons. He will be terrified of this as it would be a big nail in his political coffin, so he will be desperate for a deal with the EU, who really should hold firm and watch him crumble.
Apparently pre Brexit this took one or two simple forms. After Brexit here’s what it will take to export shellfish from UK to EU - shellfish which have a limited shelf life
It’s alright mate. Boris will chlorinate them and export them to the east coast of the US, which is crying out for Grimsby cockles.
Now it’s getting real
I’m sure they’ll find some twerp from the Billy Barry school to do it.
If they can get their parents out of the dry robes
This suggests there will be a deal.
I reckon there will cos Boris is such a spineless blob
Neither side really want the pain of no-deal
The EU could live with it far more easily.
And what better time to take the pain than during a post covid recession
Is there any chance of this being extended another 12 months?
No. None at all. Your dealing with cretins here who have never existed in the real world
