I think Mary Lou is in for a right battle

Nah, she’s safe as houses in Dublin central. I can never figure where Paschal gets his vote there.

Said it on another thread, Donnelly in Wicklow for me.

Danny Healy-Rae in Kerry.

I would actually be more shocked if Donnelly got elected than if he went in

Wishful thinking I fear. The Healy Raes are an anti government vote and they are unbelievable local politicians. The Healy Rae machine is a cliche but it is true. They have a serious operation on the ground.

He’s a fucking clown, much more so than the brother. But he will be elected.

There’s no one challenging either. Daly will be elected for SF. They’ll elect a FG most likely although the sitting TD is gone.

Foley would be vulnerable I would think if there was anyone against them but there isn’t. FF are fielding three which is stupid so unless that back fires, I can’t see anything other than HR x 2 FG× 1 and Foley FF and Daly FG.

Healy Raes are FF so I would think Foley the most vulnerable.

Labour again running a relative unknown so they’ll struggle in a traditional Spring labour seat

It’ll be tight but she’ll be alright.

Big Jim is surprisingly long odds in Dublin BS. Boyles have Ivana 1/7 and Jim in a battle royale with Chu, Kate, Andrews

Really needed to be called the Bull O Donoghue Thread

Kate o connell is in to 4/6 from 15/8. The fg no 2 is gone way out

Glasnevin, Drumcondra and a regenerated Fizzboro are very middle class and where Paschal gets his votes. The cunt.

Of all the Fine Gaelers I think that Paschal is the most decent. Even though I’d like to see a change and FG out of government, you’d hope that he’d survive any cull in numbers FG could have.

All around Europe and in the States people are voting out the incumbents. FG have had 12 years in power with housing, health and special needs education in a heap. And yes, FF have these portfolios for four years so they should get a kicking too.

Sometimes it’s just vibes & intangible things that see people vote how they do.

Sure you’ll have the Limericks here giving out stink about the disgraceful state of the hospital down there yet they’ll probably return 5/8 from FFG on 29 November.

Limerick folk are staunch civil war parties. They’d be bitter to the end on that.
