Lads looking to buy vinyl:

  1. Music Zone in Cork: https://musiczone.ie/
Ray there is a good guy. He was in Douglas SC before the place went on far thanks to that fucking Zafira.
Next place he moved to was flooded. Now hit by Covid.
Buy threw records and postage is free.

  2. Steamboat in Limerick. Sell instruments and all that stuff as well as a good vinyl selection. €3 flat shipping regardless of how many records you buy. Free shipping from €99 onwards. https://steamboat.ie/

  3. classified records up here is a decent, if small, shop run by an enthusiastic lad. Think he’s getting a proper webshop up soon. Trades on Discogs etc. https://m.facebook.com/pages/category/Shopping---Retail/Classified-Records-957722297622743/.

Rollercoaster in Kilkenny another good spot. Not sure of their online presence. Plenty of other spots in Dublin (Spindizzy, Record Spot, Freebird, Tower). No need to be buying records from Amazon lads.

This site links off to independent designers and makers all around Ireland. They’re better by the crafts council for quality. These are the definition of independent businesses we should be supporting.

Guys is there any website that lists restaurants offering click and collect and/or delivery during lockdown? I’m interested in actual nice restaurant type places rather than your standard Just Eat, Deliveroo type spots.

Opentable

Updated now to have delivery and takeaway

Good query @bandage

Some crowd up here created a new app called Q Kangaroo that local butchers, hotels, restaurants etc seem to be using for click and collect. They seen to have a few other spots around the country but it’s very Dundalk-centric at the moment. Have used it a few times.

By virtue of how despised you are across the majority of the forum, you’ve just sounded the death knell for designireland.ie
