The Cancer Thread

Sorry to hear that @caulifloweredneanderthal, you often mentioned that lady, you were obviously very fond of her.
You were unfortunate not to make it to Marymount, an absolutely extraordinary place staffed by the finest of humankind

Enjoy the send off, they can be the best of times :+1:

Thanks bud. Yeah, they were waiting for a bed in Marymount but by the time it was available, the doctors from there said she was too weak to be moved so they took over her medication and care in the hospital itself. The hospital (Bons) and hospice staff were top notch. Even the day I was there, the nursing staff were excellent. They also sorted out my Mam for free parking a few times!

Have said it before but its worth repeating, the Dubs players are all class.

A huge blow to a tight knit communty.
RIP Caolan.

I’m pretty sure a few of the Dublin boys actually visited him at his home in Crossmaglen on the way back from the Derry League game in the spring too.

That’s hard. Jesus. Born in 2003. Life is very cruel.

The Dublin lads are all class as has been said.

A brain tumour at that age just doesn’t bare thinking about though.
