I would really have to motivate myself to buy tobacco now. Even the thought of a smoke on a long journey doesn’t do it…I’ll probably hold off until I can visit my family in lombardy…not for a while I suppose.
The only exception is when I occasionally bump into a local celeb at straw, we’ve developed a routine of him telling me I’m not sherman and then giving me a nat sherman cigarette…then he makes some pun relating to an earlier mix up about the art deco sign above dean mcglinchey park…“that’s our deccy” “where?”…“above the entrance”.
The laugh of it is he says I’m the only person he can understand…the last time he asked me to go into the post office and translate for him. I declined, thinking he was joking. I’m not sure though, I could well have shot myself in the foot regarding cigarettes etc
But enough about me.

I would like to relocate this post, my unglamorous honest rural location puts me at a disadvantage as far as celeb spotting goes, so I have to make the most of things. I hope lads don’t mind…I’d hate rocko to have to ban me from the art discussion thread or something

That’s not a spot per se, rather an anecdote regarding occasional meetings with a celeb.

I suppose its more than just a spot and that’s the issue. Am I right in thinking it would have qualified had it been an isolated rather than a recurring ‘spot’? Yes assuming you had logged it within the two week time limit

When: 3.30pm November 2nd
Where: Trinity College main entrance.
Other Details: Tomàs was fomally attired and happy looking as was his female companion, I’m assuming he had a child graduating at the 4.15 sittimg.
I was exiting as a very proud dad having seen my first born graduating at the 1.15 sitting.

I was down on Bull Island between around 10.15 and 11.30 with my family and I spotted celebrity chef and RTE personality Donal Skehan rambling around with his wife, two boys and AN Other. The latter, a lady aged around 40, seemed to be tasked with filming their japes on the sand and dunes etc. My life partner advises me that Donal has a posted a lovely Instagram story chronicling their morning, including a nice selection of songs to complement the clips.
