Very generous. Thanksgiving I suppose.
The Celebrity Spotting Thread Part Twee (or help Flatty identify the celeb he just spotted) (Part 1)
I have to say his career has passed me by.
Serious work behind the scenesâŚlike that duck that looks imperturbable while paddling away underwater. Unrale. Hope lads appreciate it
(Samuel L. still not a spot?)
As I explained before that wasnât on my watch
Right enough. Just out of interest, would you have grantednit a spot if you had been in command back then?
600 odd games as a professional footballer. Capped by Ireland. A regular TV pundit for big CL games on primetime slots.
In fairness, many lesser knowns have been granted âspotâ status over him.
Fuck sake lads, even if hes from Cork, Damien Delaney is still a spot.
He is a decent pundit
A lot of things pass you by in fairness
Would you have awarded the samuel l. spot a spot yourself @balbec , had you been âin powerâ at the time?
What you think is irrelevant.

Post it up there again and Iâll let you know.
Almost live. Tall, handsome, black and proud Hollywood a-lister, Samuel L. JACKSON.
He and another man standing in the middle of the deserted main street of Castledawson in the early hours. I spun the Jeep and made a return pass just to be sure. Sam, having completed his business jogged across the road in front of me. A much slimmer and fresher man than you might think.
He was wearing an expensive looking long tope coloured raincoat over a grey silk suit, slim black tie and white shirt.
I decided to make one mire pass in the hope of getting a photo, or even an unlikely selfie- possibly with the orange Hall in the background. However he got into a very small blue and white hire car. I decided to follow. As he left the village he stopped briefly, got out and threw two full binbags over the fencing which surrounded a small building site. He didnât look particularly suspicious, in fact he seemed quite casual.
Here you go. Thanks for your interest/patienceâŚthese things probably seem inconsequential to lads like @flattythehurdler and @Mac who live in celebrity heartlands. Itâs different when all you have for company are unruly briars and unwelcome rushes.
Mentioning Flatty and I in the post will do you no help in getting this as a spot. He could well refuse it on that basis
I certainly would. But itâs not my call.
Who?
Why are you still pedalling that lie?
Nasty and unnecessary slur. Your type hates a gentlemanly discussion like the one youâve just shouldered into

Assuming it passes all the standard criteria (it was within the previous two weeks when posted and that Mr Jackson wasnât on his way to or from work) I would have awarded that as a spot.
