The Celebrity Spotting Thread Part Twee (or help Flatty identify the celeb he just spotted) (Part 1)

Saw celebrity lawyer and cunt Gerald Kean on Jones’ road but won’t waste the time of the adjudicator applying for a spot. No sign of the lovely Lisa Murphy.

They split I’m fairly sure. The relationship couldn’t survive the traumatic robbery that time.

Sure they did the country some service with their gaiety during the recession.

:rofl::call_me_hand:

Who : Johnny Logan

Known for : multi Eurovision winning singer songwriter and Irish cultural ambassador in Europe and McDonalds ads

Where : Fast Track security queue Dublin airport T 1

When : Just now

Wearing : a bowler shaped straw hat. Black leather jacket. Black shirt. Black trousers. Black hiking boots. Carrying a guitar case and suitcase. Hair was long and grey. He looked well

Other notes - The original J Lo had that easy going demeanour that comes with having a well known face and being treated in a friendly manner by people in service and travel situations. He exchanged some bon mots with the staff about being 68 and he should be retired as they examined his guitar case.

On a side note we arrived at 8.00 and had bags dropped and through security at 8.25. Airport is busy but not that bad. Security staff were friendly and efficient. Phones can stay in bags. They have that multiple queue hatch system so one slow person doesn’t slow down the rest.

Deferred spot: Former Mrs Brown’s Boys star, Rory Cowen. I spotted the tracksuit clad (former?) Fair City actor walking just over from me on Chatham Lane, we proceeded on a similar course around past The Westbury and McDaid’s, regular haunt of porter laureate Roy Curtis. I paused at the junction of Grafton Street and South Anne Street to allow Rory to get ahead of me so I could slot in and take the picture at c.12.43pm.

Around an hour earlier I’d spotted Maurice Quinlivan TD emerging from Church Lane onto Suffolk Street by O’Neill’s Pub. He was carrying an overnight bag and a laptop bag and was wearing the shoes, jeans, sports coat combo.

Oh Jesus, Timmy Dooley has just walked past me and gone into La Cave wine bar on South Anne Street.

Cowen is a spot the other two no marks are not.

Not a spot. Well established that TDs and Senators are not spots, particularly in the environs around Leinster House.

An infraction should be issued to time wasters

Who : Alan Shatter

Known for: Author of the famous book, Laura

Where: Pembroke Street

Wearing: Jeans, shirt and they type of jacket that middle aged men from south Dublin wear

Other notes: Alan’s hair has a reddish tint off it which got my attention and as he got into his car, which I think was a Kia Sportage or similiar type vehicle, I noticed he probably needs to get the grey roots done in the coming days.

Side note: Bernard Dunne drove past and I thought; there goes another cunt.

Could you not ask him to face the camera?

Cowan is one for the COTY thread.

Who: Saoirse Monica Jackson
Famous for: One of the Derry girls
Where: Cobblestones on the south side of the Sean O’Casey bridge in Dublin
When: Today, 12:15pm
Other notes: Saoirse Monica was struggling with a wheelie suitcase over the cobblestones. She was dressed for summer weather. I would estimate that she was heading to the Grand Canal direction, perhaps staying somewhere in the locality for thd Westlife concert later perhaps. She showed absolutely no airs or graces despite being the main character of one of the most popular TV shows of recent times.
