She’s probably down for the big game tomorrow.
The Celebrity Spotting Thread Part Twee (or help Flatty identify the celeb he just spotted) (Part 1)
Controversial, surprised at that decision
Go way to fuck you.
I always take the time and trouble to ask Derry football supporters how they think Londonderry will go in a game. They greatly appreciate it.
When I was first conversing with Derry people I used remind them that there was no London in Tyrone.
It went down even worse than I could possibly have imagined,
You need to pick your audience carefully.
Who. Shane Lowry.
Where. Aran Islands. Inis Mór.
When. Yesterday about 2pm.
Mood. Pleasant relaxed.
Dress. Casual.
Other info. Shane came out of the only Spar Shop on the island. Signed a couple of autographs for two passing cyclists before being whisked away in one of those English Reg Black Range Rovers that we saw several times over the weekend.
Other other info. I found it hard to believe that he’s be holidaying on the Aran Islands so close to the British Open. Perhaps he was playing some links golf on the west coast and took a break.
He has his work done. Holidaying at home before a hop and skip to next tournament seems wise to me.
Spot.
@Fagan_ODowd i hate to bring it to the attention of the forum but this is like the time @mac spotted a Leinster rugby player in dunnes at the same time said spot was playing a match in France
Was it Shane Dowling you saw?
A lovely way about her pulling a suitcase
Why and how could there be an English yellow reg 4x4 on the aran islands? Can you bring the car out on the ferry?
You can. There’s a special ferry once a week from Galway City for cars and other big stuff. Our bus driver Seán told us.
Obviously celebs have to be catered for somehow on the island. You’d hardly expect the likes of Shane Lowry to squeeze onto one of the ferries. I was a bit surprised by the Range Rovers to be honest. I assume there was more than one as we saw them umpteen times but never together to be honest.
There was another big fuck off black square thing for hire bringing two newly-weds to the Worm Hole for photos. They passed me on the way from it but my son later confirmed that was where they were coming from. She must have trekked over a kilometre or more of bear rock in her dress to get to it as there’s no direct road to the Worm Hole.
There was plenty of private yachts moored in the harbour and there’s also an airport on Inis Mór that I’m sure would take private planes. I see no reason why Lowry couldn’t be hitting a few balls in St Andrews by sunset the same day.
What time Sunday did you “ Spot “ Shane?
About 2pm as posted above.
Had you drink taken?
Two cups of coffee only…
