You can drink whatever you like, the only problem is that while the ferritin is high the liver is under ferocious pressure and you have an exponentially higher risk of cirrhosis, anyway, without adding alcohol to the mix. Getting a liver biopsy so that you can be told how much longer you have to live and your likely quality of life is a fairly nerve wracking experience.
