Atletico Madrid may well want to re-sign Diego Costa and Chelsea may equally want to offload him. He remains a Chelsea player until 1 January 2018.

He is an Atletico Madrid players as of now, he is unable to play games until the 1st January due to a ban Atletico are serving which does not allow new signings to be registered to play.
