I won money on Carlingford Lough a while back, backed as I have a friend from Carlingford, and also see he won a race a couple of weeks ago. Is he worth a pop at 13/2 today?
Everything looks in place for ante-post pickCarlingford Lough to run a big race in the RSA Chase at 2.05, with Smad Place and old rival Morning Assembly feared most, while I am in the fortunate position of being involved as a part-owner in the Coral Cup which follows courtesy ofBayan. He has been an absolute star for us since we got hold of him and should give another good account of himself if getting the all-important luck in running, though as usual it’s a fiercely competitive affair.

the bitter poison is already starting to spew here. no funnier sight then fellas down money and scrambling and still 3 days left, associating human like characteristics to horses is a sure sign a fella is rattled and sore
Looks like the lunatics have taken over the asylum

That was impressive. Never in doubt turning home. How good is Briar Hill if he’s better than that lad and Vautour?

Lovely:clap::clap:
Heart in the mouth moment there as he approached the last but what a jump to clinch it. Future Word Hurdle type. Leaves me with only Briar Hill on Friday to round off a juicy Lucy treble

Faugheen would give you palpatations worst jumper over to win it…but win it he did!

Christ- I dropped Ballyalton ew for Redsherlock at the last minute-- why, @Mac , why?-( be kind, mate)

Faugheen wins by a mile.

Willie Mullins, just now: “I put him on something”

This festival is a dopers paradise. If Our Conor “broke his back”, I’m Harold Ramsey. Overheated and suffered heart failure after charging up beforehand more like. Those horses are incorrigible.

Cheers Laz. CL has never let me down before so he’s worth a tenner.

That’s racing mate

Only BAYAN can save the day now

I hate when racing presenters make sweeping inaccurate statements like the one Brian Gleeson has just thrown out - “John Kiely has never had a festival winner”

signed in

Fuck it anyway

Can’t complain with that result. Great run by Morning Assembly. Got boxed in between 2 and 3 out but wouldn’t have caught the winner.

The Big Race of the Week up next:pint:

Not good enough and outpaced. Led turning for home I think but front 2 breezed past him as if he wasn’t there.

4 places?
