The Cheltenham Festival 2014

Ricci is nice to have as an owner but I think you underestimate WPM if you truly believe Richy Rick is gonna call the shots in Closutton. There’s a reason Willie become the great trainer he’s become.

Yes, mainly down to Riccis money :stuck_out_tongue:

I see Golantilla is likely to go for the Bumper again, very odd.

Briar Hill can shorten all he wants. I’m happy to oppose him all day long for the AB. Been looking at a few big priced shots over past few days. Will post em up here in due course. Current ante post portfolio has Defy Logic at 16s, Melodic Rendezvous at 25s and Last Installment at 50s. I think Felix Younger wins the Arkle. Champagne Fever goes for the old Jewson.

Yes , he’s got 200 horses in his yard, another feeder yard with another ~200 and a lead owner who buys anything in France that wins anything of note…

Had forgotten I’d also backed Our Conor at 9’s

mac have a look at Felix Yongers age…face doesn’t fit for me…little improvement I would suggest…arkle is a puzzle. Golantilla was sick last year after that bumper run (3rd) he is a maching…presuming he comes back

What do you mean his age? He’ll be 8, the same age as Sizing Europe and Moscow Flyer were when they won it. He was off for a full year too…Track not a problem for him as he ran v well behind Simonsig in Neptune.

he’ll be 9?

sorry…you are correct…ignore that…

Annie Power entered in a 2m hurdle in Doncaster on Saturday

Lovely stuff. If she comes through that she will surely be aimed at the CH.

Bit too much non Cheltenham news creeping into this thread for my liking.

Off to the SOKs thread for this type of news in future Mac

It’s very relevant to Cheltenham. Suggests Willie is leaning towards running her in the CL IMO.

Ha ha, meant CH.

County Hurdle?

I’ve backed The Tullow Tank for the Supreme at 10s and Ballyglasheen for the Triumph at 33s both NRFB.

Agree 100% with this.

I can confirm TTT will def go for the supreme not the neptune

Would I have backed him if I didn’t already know that?

well you’ve backed a few other APA horses who may not even run there so I was just making sure
