The Cheltenham NH Festival 2013

Would like to have seen grandouet stand up, slow pace was perfect for him , champagne fever won the supreme in a faster time than the fly

Good day here too. Got simonsig and HF. Had a place on Rajanai Express in the last which still paid out at 5/1. Up so far.
I had champagne @ 16s fagan you’ll be delighted to learn

I would have laid the fly till the cats came home after 10f, ears back and a slack rein ! Unbelievable turn about

Word for the absent Fenway who’d tipped up golden chieftain in similar conditions at xmass, he’d probably have put him up had he been on here
You had champagne fever but you were tipping up MToy?

You will pardon me while I never pay a blind bit of notice to one of your racing posts again.

Come back Fenway.

Re read the post you senile old fart

The supreme, manys a festival punting has ended here. The traditional irish banker (Dunguib) but not this time. MTOY brings all the form, deserved fav, but no course form….
I’ve sided with the Mullins pair, few quid ew on Pioux Sous and Champagne Fever, both involved in last years bumper and both in good form this year. PS needs a firm surface, anything less than good will lessen his chances. An outsider….the forgotten horse, Cheltenian, bumper winner of 2011. Nice come back last month and Philip Hobbs has prepared them for this race before.
Arkle
Don’t take on Simonsig, take 1/1 if you can get it
JLT
Stick a pin, Fruit OLooney in good form. Should be there of thereabouts. Carlito in, and back him in whatever race he goes in, 137 over fences v 153 over sticks

CH
Grandouet if straight, if not Rock on Ruby. The Fly’s run last year not explained. In decline
Cross Country
Boston Angels has a massive weight swing with the fancied Outlaw pete, this is normally a burger race for me, but this year will take an interest
Mares Race
You know
Putney
Carlito if he runs here. Colour Squadron has cost me a lot of money, and remains high class but his last 2 runs have been disappointing

bumping for gramps

Move along KC. I won’t be reading another one of your posts, trying to decode the fucking rambling shites of things.

I did subsequently state champagne fever was skimpy @ 6
In the supreme, the last remaining doubt re MTOY has been removed in my mind, i.e. quick gnd
He’ll win now and might even look value after the race
I backed Pious Souz AP but his chance would appear to have gone with the rain
Champagne Fever is my other interest but way too skimy now @6/1
Fav is probably value
Couldnt have Jedski

The arkle, Simonsig, take the 1/1 in Laddies (20) and load up if you can get 4/5 tomorrow

Boring so far. It gets worse for me. my other big AP plunge was Grandoeut, but its doubtful he’s straight
If the market turned for him, i would stay put, but the champ is the one to the on now @ 5/1

In the cross country, i am going to stick a few pund ew on Boston Angel, nice weight swing with Outlaw Pete…just an interest…not massive fancy

In the final race, carlito brigante (137) is exceptionally well treated compared to his hurdle rating, but one that could be even better treated is the druids nephew. His last run was partuculary eye catching and his jumping (left) will be even more suite to CHE, ran well in albert bartlett last year, won P2P on soft and will get home ew @ 8s…dont rule out carlito
Bumped for KC. Do you even remember posting this last night?
The 9/4 odd available on Hurricane Fly seems very generous to me. I have availed.

I’ve also gone for:
13.30 Champange Fever 13/2
16.00 Bostons Angel 15/2

I’ll be having a few more as it happens.
I’ve couple of small money accums on aswell. The main one being Simonsig, Fly, Quevaga pays 7/1
Quality stuff Jules.

Yes? I I mentioned the afore mentioned bet up there also right?
Are you in the pub ?

Btw if ted Walsh did say MTOY is a bridle horse he just looks stupid now, not correct

You did. After you suddenly remembered it.

“MTOY will win now and might even look value after the race”

For fuck sake. will you keep this drivel to yourself if you are not prepared to stand over it.

I am? Your confusing yourself…

I
Btw if ted Walsh did say MTOY is a bridle horse he just looks stupid now, not correct
I thought the same when I read the above statement. No way could you say MTOY didn’t get up the hill. It was three quality race horses fighting a top class battle.

Great race

Fagan, stick with me and you be ok

All the jockey colours are messed up on the irishracing.com site

Back in Focus, Pont Alexandre and Boston Bob tomorrow for me… small accum

Is Shutthefrontdoor more likely to go in the AB or the Pertemps?
I’m a fan.
What a day.

I’ve a 4 winner accum rolling onto the moved race now. Trying to get powers to settle it as void. I’ll decide then whether I go again or not
Go in before 12 tomorrow and tell them you want it as a NR and not to run onto the refixed race.
