There was a lengthy article in The currency about the settlement. It was Kieran Wallace negotiated it as Anglo liquidator. They got most of the assets back in exchange for not bankrupting all the kids. Cant remember the exact details.

The ‘kids’’ were still being paid hundreds of thousands. Considering every single person in Ireland who pays insurance is paying a levy for that it is scandalous. And every second he has dragged every bit of this through the courts costs us all. And all the dirty money he tried to hide costs us. And every bit of violence that springs from his influence costs us. He is a fucking scumbag. His family are scum. He is openly intimidating reporters trying to report on this case. May he die roaring.

I assumed that they have tried to but an attempt to access them might attract attention from people who spent a lot of time trying to get to the bottom of the family assets
That’s the fellow. His brother was GAA President in the early 90’s. GAA figures like Mickey Harte, Colm O’Rourke, Jarlath Burns, Joe Kernan and trendy Fermanagh priest Fr. Brian Darcy were all out marching in support of him when his businesses got into a bit of bother.
