Eddie Lenihan did not say he wanted the statue. His exact words on rte news were “I don’t see what it has to do with Ennistymon, I never collected any examples of stories of the Puca in Ennistymon and I’ve been collecting stories for 45 years and a lot of them, from Ennistymon”.
