The first post that showed up when I clicked into this thread
The last team to win in mallow in this prestigious competition did ok that year .
Very true⌠Winning is a habit⌠Great start to the year.
I was trying to draw him a few posts up. I miss our JoeâŚ
Nobody likes going to Mallow
Mallow is a bear pit.
Mallowâs contribution to Cork GAA is scandalous .
Not a great place to go for a night out.
Was out there for a night after the Easter races last year, it was grand. Town was busy so a bit of life around then.
Iâd say it wouldnât be the best on a normal night out. Meant to be rough enough.
Any win down there is not to be sniffed at.
Grand after Easter Sunday racing. Rough on a normal night alright. I recall spending one New Yearâs Eve night in Mallow when I was with the ex. Twas an experience to say to least (The night out that is)
Tis no NCW
Weâve been to Fortress Mallow and come away with a win.
Waterford and Limerick underage teams from 2012-14 finally going to get it on this year at senior.
The irresistible force v the unmovable object.
The match all neutrals want. Walsh/Welsh Park will be like one of those Turkish derbies later this summer when/if they meet there. A cauldron.
The Lismore boys will have âWelcome to Hellâ daubed in blood on a 30 ft banner in the terrace
grand town- used to play soccer against them a bit, games involving us, Mallow, Midleton, Youghal and the city clubs like Leeds, Rockmount and Ringmahon were rough- it used to be an incredible grouping of absolute scumbags in one spot, acatually id say us v midleton was the worst of the lot
soccer remember when we beat Crumlin Utd in amybe a national u16/17 cup QF and on the bus back stopping in some small shop outside naas and the place been cleaned out⌠heady days

All 500 away fans bussed in from a fleet of coaches in Ferrybank under the supervision of the Emergency Response Unit.
You get some proper scum at junior/intermediate football in Ireland.
Worse than anything at even league of Ireland level.
Itâs great!
