The Confessions Thread

I laughed at an Oliver Callan sketch on the radio tonight. He had Ciaran Mullooly to a tee. The rest of the show was weak enough though.

I think he’s funnier than not tbh, much better on the radio than in telly.

He’s fucking painful. Maybe 10% of it is listenable.

‘Big Sur’ has popped up on my Spotify ‘radio’.

I’ve been happily humming away to it.

I listen to and enjoy Ewans podcast, even his monologue.

A colleague regularly posts photos of his son (approx 7 years of age) on Facebook.

I’ve never met this child but, solely on the strength of his facial expressions in photos I hate him and want to punch him. Anyone else ever feel this way about kids or am I some sort of dangerous monster?

The poor child has a parent that still uses Facebook, I’d be inclined to go easy on him over this

Play it safe and just bate his Da.

I listened to Des’s Island Discs last Friday night when I was out in the car and I enjoyed it. The guest was Philip King.

Is it a week ago already? That was a good one alright, King is most definitely an alright sort

The BBC repeated the Desert Island discs with Salford poet John Cooper Clarke a couple of weeks ago. Very enjoyable it was.

My first date with the one true love of my life was a Scullion gig in the SFX.

King is an absolute legend.

I’m currently enjoying listening to an interview with Wes Browne.

Who’s the interviewer? United had an a lot of players in the later ferguson years who won an awful lot but are rated by almost no one.

John Meyler I think. Brown was pretty sore about not having 9 titles to his name, missed out a few games for 4 more ones. 5 is alright still I guess. Seemed like a good guy.
