Late 1 (one) is a great age. Boundless energy, no fear, the alphabet and numbers going the whole time. Everything is new and fun, even when it’s been done to death. Tantrums haven’t quite kicked in yet but prone to a whinge when mammy or daddy leave the house

Also, fairly damning evidence this week that Chucks Jr is a ciotĂłg. Very happy with that but will have him working hard with the right peg from age 3 onwards.

We have done it Brian. Unless you’re living on a flood plain or a bog as the lads have said the water should drain away quickly. It’ll be full of weeds and hiding places for rats though so make sure you can get at it with spray as needed

You should definitely do The Ridge of Cappard sometime, and Glenbarrow Waterfall.

Signing in again and more than likely for the last time. I was hoping for a some gender parity in the household but the half back line for the camogie team has been completed. The ladies of the Pox household now control power with a 4-2 lead. At least I’ll have a someone to look after me when I’m older if I make it that far.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Women are great. Someone once said that labour is like Batman and Robin. It’s not close. I was the equivalent of the hubcap on the batmobile today.
