Itâs a lot easier now. Youâd be getting VHS tapes of matches sent over in the 90âs. A sub for the Monday Irish Times for the sport and you might get it by Friday if you were lucky. Dialling into a number in Belgium to listen to a match on RTE radio. 00 3225095050.
No need for that lame attempt at âwitâ. The ladâs having a tough day, show some support/compassion.
I despair of you sometimes. Weâre not here slagging you just because youâre reduced to turnips.
Iâd say being in a non English speaking country helps in a way does it. If you are in oz Canada usa or the likes youâd just watch their telly and get into their sport for handiness sake and drift away from here.
My experience of it Oz was difficult to keep up with th hurling as would be 3am Monday morning for live câship matches. Thereâd be far more northern and Leinster football lads about too so little chatter about hurling.
states was great for it tho. Could start your Sunday early and finish early if choosing to too.
