Robbie Fowler was electric when he broke into the Liverpool team.

Looks a fine player. Remains to be seen if he’s one of those lads that is just great to watch without unbelievable amounts of goals or assists or whether he can push on and make it at Real Madrid

Totti would have to be up there

Ya flying it there apparently. If another 21 year old was having a break out season like that you’d be thinking what an exciting prospect. But with him it’s almost like he’s washed up at 21 such was the hype :joy:

Had a look at his stats on wiki one day. Scored 36 goals one season when he was only around 20 years of age.

Rooney better than Messi ever?

How could I forget. I always think of Totti for his longevity, you’d forget that he was doing it from the age of 16.

His first 3 full seasons he scored 30+ goals … Houllier destroyed him.

James Milner

The leg break destroyed him. Was never the same after

The charlie and pints destroyed him

C Ronaldo was a complete show pony as a teenager. Michael Owen is a good shout. George Best too.

Houllier had a ready made homegrown front two between himself and Michael Owen. Strange to go splashing big money on Emile Heskey.

Owen needed a foil and Gerard wasn’t a big Fowler fan for some reason. French prick

He was immense… A natural born killer.

Pele would have to be up there if we’re going back to George Best
