Anyone else see it? I thought Heath Ledger performance as the Joker was superb. He really made it believable. I think even if he was alive that there would be Oscar talk about the performance. There was so many twists that the 2 and a half hours went so fast. I shall probbably go and see it again I thought it was that good.
Thought it was brilliant - never looked at my watch once during it!
Welcome Rogue.
If you hate sci fi and superhero type stuff and all that comic book shite will you hate this film too or could it appeal to a wider audience? Canât imagine even nearly liking it, but have to say Iâm a small bit tempted to satisfy my curiosity based on the reviews Iâve read.
Have you not seen Batman Begins Rock? I watched it for the first time on Saturday and I thought it was brilliant. Considering The Dark Knight is now No1 on th all time greatest movie list on IMDB it must be worth a look. I can post the link for a HD download of Batman Begins if anyone is interested. I also have a link to a fairly good quality pirate version of The Dark Knight.(Theyâre both on megaupload or rapidshare as far as I remember)
Heard that about Ledger alright - his performance is meant to be brilliant.
Never was a huge Batman fan but really want to see Batman Begins - have missed it now on numerous occassionsâŚ
Lads itâs a must see. Even if you are not into sci-fi/ super hero- comic book type stuff you will still enjoy this immensely as it is in no way like anything that has gone before it. The movie gets progressively darker as it goes on and you even forget its a super hero type movie as it unfolds. The performances from Bale, Ledger and Eckhart are superb but the Joker does kinda steal the show. At times the plot is a little predictable and some of the action scenes are a bit much but you can over look both these due to darkness of the story line and the performances. Easily a 9/10.
Do Not see this film with any kind of hangover. I went at 2 on saturday with the blues after a fair few pints the night before. Itâs SO dark, I felt like hanging myself after.
Itâs brilliant, though I found it unnecessarily long. Bring plenty of provisions.
Include in your provisions a piss bag. Or if you have no shame piss in your empty cup and leave under your seat.
Iâm pretty much the same as Farmer, I was never a huge fan of Batman(that campy series was awful) but the direction that Batman Begins takes is true to the original vision of Batman.
Fuck this, Iâm downloading it tonight.
Flano post here if u get a proper copy. All the ones on Pirate Bay are shitty quality so far. Itâs supposed to be a top notch film so donât want to ruin it by watching a poor quality one.
If it wasnât race week here Iâd go to the cinema to see it but the traffic and crowds is putting me off going outside the door at all.
Iâm more or less in the minority here but I have absolutely zero interest in watching a Batman movie. Same goes for Superman, Spiderman, Bananaman and any other films ending in âmanâ.
Betya if they make a Wonderwoman film Bandage youâll be first in the cinema queue
Saw it last night. Fooking class. Ledger steals the show even though Bale is super as Batman. The Oscar is nailed down for the late Heath.
Am I the only one that thinks Maggie Gyllenhal is a munter?
Wanna know how I got these scars?

What does she get them out in?
Secretary and some other film whose name escapes meâŚ
Go to metacafe.com - type her name into the search thingy and her scenes pop up thereâŚ
Donât think Ledger should get the oscar. He was very good as the Joker but not oscar worthy.
I thought the whole thing with the 2 ships being given the choice to blow each other up was excellent.
Two Face was annoying. Tommy Lee Joneâs Two Face was also annoying.
Good little cameo from Cillian Murphy at the start too.
After all the money itâs made-theyâll have to make another at least.
Maybe theyâll have Bane in the next.
Saw it last night. Very enjoyable. Great to see a big blockbuster summer flick being directed and acted the way movies should be! Good snippets of dark humour in it too.
Saw this Sunday night, top notch film even if youâre not into superhero shite but are a fan of action/thrillers get a copy of this it is excellent.
Ledgerâs performance is unbelieveably dark and I thought the lad that played Harvey Dent(canât think of his name) was excellent too.
Iâd love to rattle the wan that plays Harvey Dents bird in it, not a stunner or anything but something dirty about her. you can see it in her eyes a filthmonger to be sure
I see they are lining up eddie murphy for the part of the riddler in the next one⌠dont know if he will pull it offâŚall i equate him with now is Donkey from shrekâŚ
Eddie Murphy and Shia LaBeouf have been lined up to star in the next âBatmanâ movie, according to reports.
The âBeverly Hills Copâ actor will star as The Riddler and LaBeouf will play the caped crusaderâs sidekick Robin in the next instalment, tentatively titled âGothamâ.
Actress Rachel Weisz is reportedly in the frame to play Catwoman. Christian Bale will return as Bruce Wayne and Michael Caine will again play his assistant Alfred, according to The Sun.
The movie, which is slated for a 2010 release, will be directed by Christopher Nolan, who made âThe Dark Knightâ such a huge success when it was released this year.
A source said: Chris wasnt sure if he wanted to do another movie but as soon as he decided to, he got the wheels in motion. Eddies a fantastic addition. Everyones excited to see what he does as the Riddler.
