The two points for scores outside 35 yards could be interesting

Meanwhile ladies football are reducing goals to 2 points because goalies are so shit.

You have the answer there. All teams have to have a girl in goals

Tyrone ahead of the curve again. They’ve had a fanny between the posts for some time.

Two refs is a no brainer - keeping x amount of players in opposition half also makes sense. That would be a basic start… this wont transfer over to club game so easily tho.

20 vs 20 make it really hard to score

Spud Hockey is in a mess as well but the propoganda machine rolls on for that.

Remove the Northeren Oirish out of the GAA, over 10 to 15 years football would come back to us.
They are different to us . They have turned something that was beautiful when kerry for example had it to something now that is just vile.

That would be nigh on impossible to referee.

There was a debate on Radio 1 there yesterday about rule changes to improve the game and most of the proposals seemed to be borne out of a desire to limit the amount of handpasses in the game.

Get rid of the handpass.

with a ref in each half? or assistant refs for each half?

Tie their laces together.

Yes, and even more difficult for the players.

imagine a guy soloing forward past a midfielder and trying to count how many lads were ahead of him in the other half.

Simplest change is sin bin, kick outs must go beyond 45 yards and no going back over halfway.

FFS sake

Tyrone would have a Maginot line across the 45 for every kick out.

Must tell our U14 goalie who is 12 that his kick out have to pass the 45.

13 aside could be a simple solution

kicks to the sideline would have to clear 50m distance. some adult players wouldnt even manage that, nevermind underage. You’ll just have it more cluttered all going down the middle

your heading in the right direction. The goal is zero
