The Death of the GGA

Well I have already give you the figures. More patrons attended the camogie final than the World Cup final. Do you accept this?

Stop being silly.

Close ranks by all means ye fucking clueless liars.

Comparing NFL to GAA is really bizarre mate

Sweet response.

What kind of budget did the IRFU have to sell out Soldier Field with the All Blacks?

AIG supported, but they also did that in Boston this year.

Reflected glory.

I believe the IRFU took a fee and passed the risk on

I was pestering the family long before he won anything.

I often had a pint with All Ireland medalist Mossy Dowling in Paddy MacAuliffe’s but you never heard me blowing about it.

One was a game between two full blown international teams under full international rules, the other was an exhibition game under makey uppy rules between two teams who were out on the beer. I’m not sure it’s a valid comparison?

Interesting, sensible international expansion.

It’s also interesting how this St Patrick’s Day I’ll be able to watch Ireland v England live on NBC, as they’ve taken the decision that Irish rugby = Irish culture. Irish rugby on St Patrick’s Day is now like the Macy’s parade on Thanksgiving morning to the US tv audience. GGA fans can console themselves while watching All Ireland Club finals on GGA Go I guess.

I am simply asking why the GGA cannot full stadiums abroad.

Why could World Rugby fill Wembley with 90k of mostly Irish, mostly living in London and all paying excoriate prices against Romania?

The GGA’s failures abroad are down to it not being a particular good activity. It’s bolstered in Ireland by the tribal element but is in steady decline.

Be quiet you gowl.

There are no stadia abroad with the appropriate measurements for full GAA rules?

No one gives a fuck about your curiosities you gowl.

there are no handball stadia?

What is your problem with the gaa?

No, nor rounders stadia

Wow. This is spot on.

Not a sport from the horses mouth. TV Wallpaper.

You do realise you are the only one discussing the lack of international market penetration by the GAA?
