"Welcome to three hours ago @balbec ". Sorry lads, I was working.

Ooooooft. Headshot.

Why are you so jealous of the gaa?

Why are you so jealous of the gaa shithead?

Wrong.

I have outlined the efforts by the GGA above.

Just because they have failed doesn’t make it untrue.

@Little_Lord_Fauntleroy

No you mentioned an IRFU bid for the RWC.

I brought up the Women’s RWC final in response. I simply asked for a similarly viewed event from the GGA.

I’m still waiting.

its bizarre - why cant they stay on topic?

What’s your problem fuckface?

Show me where in any of their strategic reports they outlined a desire to expand internationally?

What is?

Btw Fagan, this “amateur” stuff is the most risible of all in the hubris and nonsense that comes from the GGA.

The very fact that the GGA is amateur gives them more cash than others to invest in things like capital infrastructure and coaching.

There’s nothing amazing about an amateur organisation who get crowds building a stadium like Croke Park. Just like there was nothing amazing about the IRFU doing the same years ago. It’s why I have always defended association football on infrastructure. No football code in Ireland has the same constraints they do and no organization in Ireland has the opportunities the GGA do.

The GGA have had a huge market abroad to play games to. They’ve tried and failed.

Compare NFL ratings on Sky to the GGA in the UK, it is actually embarrassing.

Why do you persist on writing reams of piss when no one is going to read it?

How much money do you think the GAA would need to have left over after capital investment and coaching in Ireland to make a realistic attempt to expand its footprint internationally?

You’ve got to be shitting me?

You’ve heard of GGA International haven’t you?

Tell me about it Tim.

The NFL spent very little money in establishing themselves in the UK.

They had exposure on TV which they gave for free- the GGA have attempted that themselves.

They put on a game.

They sold tickets.

The end.

Poor ol Mike is taking such a hammering, he cant help but try to pivot.
