Great tags on here
If you think a 50-50 vote vindicates you, then fair enough.
I didn’t agree with the poll in the first place, but its setting a dangerous precedent if the then (well voted) polls are ignored, and if the subject matter can vote on it himself.
It stinks. Its very Cork County Board like.
Flano…Fuck off you useless twaat.
It wasn’t 50/50, Kev. Dunph won by 4 clear votes and that’s without taking into consideration the votes of those who support him but weren’t online over the weekend. In addition, there’s always been a precedent of poll subjects being allowed to vote - take IOTM for example where everyone, including nominees, have always voted. Finally, there were a few very dodgy voters on the anti-Dunph side - p_s, jimmy cooney’s watch etc. Only for the fact we’re very strict on not allowing aliases, I’d be very concerned that foul play was involved. But it’s irrelevant in the end because Dunph was convincingly vindicated, as expected.
He didn’t, those 4 people had no faith whatsoever in him. But look, you want to make up the rules as you go, then fair enough Frank.
I found that to be very unsettling. I think it was clear over the weekend that I was still mulling over my decision on this. At one point on Saturday I was going to side with The Dunph, but then I was subjected to a vile tirade of abuse via Rocko’s new IM service. Well needless to say I was very taken aback, I’d always seen The Dunph as an alright sort, and to be honest, wasn’t sure of the need for this thread at all when I first saw it posted. However I did support JG’s right to post the poll if he felt it was needed, as a concerned Limerick poster.
So I pulled back from the brink, witheld my support for The Dunph for a little bit longer, to perhaps teach him some manners I guess, I’m not sure why, I just felt after that tirade, it would be best to seek counsel. When you are a legend in the way that I am, your voice carries a lot of weight.
So I spoke long and hard with some close confidantes, and I thank them all for their counsel. There was actually a high powered meeting planned to dicuss it some more in person, I was to go along to Croker to meet up with The Puke to discuss this further, at which point we would decide what was the best way to go. Imagine my shock then when I checked in yesterday to see the poll had in fact closed in the AM and not the PM which I had been lead to believe. It was quite unfortunate really.
The Dunph, the opportunity is still there for you to apologise for your profane outburst, it shames you and your win.
Disappointing you didn’t get to vote mate.
Get over it you mong, its over.
Kevin is taking this as badly as artfoley did last night. They are both seething due to Dunph’s success.
Being a relative newcomer to TFK, it has taken me a while to get up to speed with all the battles, on-going fueds etc. So after reading this thread in its entirity along with the other threads that appear to have directly lead to this poll here is my opinion on the matter:
Robert ‘The Dunph’ Mugabe appears to have forgotten about the little people that helped him gain the status he has today (or at least had until recently). He has decided to ignore the clear message the democratic process has sent, and has instead of explaining his actions, has enlisted the most pathetic poster on this site, NCC, and various other mongs to shout down anybody who objects to his recent behaviour.
In the space of a week since I was accepted to the Limerick Chippers Group, I have already become completely disillusioned with it after memberships were terminated for crossing Mugabe on this thread. Its a sad state of affairs really
Wilhelm the traitor.
Who did I betray Flano?

Thanks, I really did show those Nazi’s bastards who was boss, I appreciate your support Flano. Ps. The non-nazis generally call Wilhelm a hero rather than a traitor but cheers for bringing it up anyway.
Who asked ya!
Well done Dunph, my work here is done. Now, time to rig the Lisbon Treaty.
