Sunderland had nearly three times the amount of senior players unavailable today so your excuse is not sufficient. They only played two hours earlier than Liverpool on Saturday.

Having only 14 fit senior players would indeed constitute a injury crisis, mate… and one of them is off to the African thing. Liverpool Cant splash billions like Chelsea and have another 22 loanees out at others clubs. It’s tough but they will soldier on.

The manager has chosen to freeze Sakho out. Kevin Stewart is in his mid 20s so he is a senior player, if a shit one.
Chelsea have regularly had Loftus Cheek, Solanke, Aina and Chalobah on the bench this season who have minimum experience at EPL level. I never heard anyone cite an injury crisis there.
