The English Premier League 2016/17™

anyone think the keeper was very slow coming out for the 3rd goal? hazards touch I think gave the keeper a chance to dart out and smother, or just attempt to take ball and man…

Would love to see West ham get relegated this season.

Can anyone explain to me what the rationale behind West Ham moving grounds was. They are basically attracting the same crowds into a bigger stadium (that they don’t own) which leads to a shit atmosphere.

As far as I could see Upton Park was a decent ground which could garner a good atmosphere and was a tricky place to visit. There doesn’t seem to be any logic at all behind the move.

Money surely. Gold and Sullivan sold Upton Park and pocketing the profits.

The move will destroy them sadly…

But from a brief online search, it looks like they sold it for under its valuation of £70m.

They are paying £2.5m a year in leasing costs for the Olympic Stadium, I find it all very strange.

They’re pulling off a stroke.

Killing the working man…who went to Upton PK all his life.

West Ham think they are a big Club like Chelsea and Manchester United

They sold Upton park for £35m according to this.

It’s not like it was a big windfall for them.

Liverpool - with the resources they have - will have a smashing little season if they finish 2nd. Mourinho is truly finished as a manager - Costa and Hazard mugging him off good and proper with their performances this season

Most of Chelsea’s bench would start for any other team, it’s frightening. They must have hated Mourinho with a passion.

Which of them would start for Liverpool?

Hedonistic fuckers that sell porn would have no compunction of selling an iconic stadium.

Willan, Begovic, Terry, and they’ve a black lad plays midfield too, Chalobah?

Chelsea have close to 40 players loaned out to other clubs as well.

The wealth they have at their disposal (amassed largely from asset stripping of the Russian people) is truly staggering and quite a change from the mid 1970’s to late 1980’s when they spend 8 of the 14 seasons from 1975-76 to 1988-89 in the second flight after getting relegated on three separate occasions.

My father took me to the away end in Stamford Bridge to the FA Cup Quarter Final in 1982. Chelsea were an absolute joke at that stage. Steve Archibald, Glenn Hoddle and the original and best Hazard - Micky, got the Spurs goals. Chelsea finished that season mid-table in Division 2. Chelsea had little or no history up until the turn of this century. Of the EPL sides only Swansea City (1912) were founded later than Chelsea (1905).

Eddie Newton.

Begovic?

Who do the other lads start over?

Liverpool’s back 5 are extremely average… Willian for Firmino. Which Liverpool players would get in the Chelsea side?

Willian for Firmino is a bit of draw really. Firmino is currently ahead of him internationally.

That’s a seperate debate, I don’t think many of the Chelsea bench would get a start for Liverpool. I think Chelsea have a strong XI at the minute but a lot of their bench are unproven or would not really be compatible with Conte’s system. It will be interesting to see how Chelsea cope without Hazard, Costa, Luiz, Kante or Moses on current form.

They won’t be losing them… Liverpool have lost their only quality player to injury and will be losing Mane to the African cup… Their back 5 are average. I’d gladly take Terry and Begovic … Oscar, Ivanovich and Fabregas are also subs…those five are hardly unknowns …they’ve some quality young players on the bench with those experienced ones… Easily one of the best squads in world football.
