The English Premier League 2016/17™

A real thriller last night at the Riverside . Mr Karanka has us going well now. We can be a mid table team this year . Up the Boro.

Baines is some chump of a full back. He has been destroyed by Amrabat (decent player btw) for the opening 35 minutes here. Astonishing to think of the price tag associated with him a few years back.

Ex Trigoria product has slayed The Toffees.

The hype of him all fell apart when Candreva destroyed him in the 2014 World Cup

He’s got a decent left foot but that’s about it, slow as a month in jail, can’t get beyond his winger in support, makes loads of poor decisions in defence.

Barkley is another disgustingly overrated player, he’s the kind of guy who might look good on a highlight reel as he can strike a ball really well on either foot but he doesn’t have the speed of thought or mobility to be a top player.

Lukaku gets his second.

3-2.

5 mins to go.

Amrabat has been awesome.

Are Everton any better under Koeman ???

I don’t see any real change. They’re still shit and a soft touch.

Koeman isn’t a great manager at all. Totally out of his depth at Valencia

Stats seem to suggest that .

The Englander premium.

Did Lescott get his forehead fixed or is he just caked in makeup?

After winning on the opening day of the season at Burnley, Swansea took one point from their next six games before sacking Guidolin. He didn’t put up much of a compelling case for his retention.

Swansea have won 3-0 at home to Sunderland today, their second win in three league games and have moved out of the relegation places. In the game before that Swansea were only denied a win at Goodison by a last minute Seamus Coleman equaliser.

Bob Bradley is making a much better fist of it than Francesco Guidolin.

Guido lasted 7 games this season after he came in and saved Swansea from relegation last season. He took 28 points from a possible 51 points last term

He was sacked on the back of 5 games without a win, in those 5 games they had to play last season’s Champions and three of the current top 4 in the league, narrowly going down to City and Liverpool and drawing with Chelsea. There were no 5 goal hockeyings under Guido’s watch with City being the only defeat in that run was more than a 2 goal defeat and you’d imagine when the easier games came around he would win them like he did last season.

He was blackguarded and unless Bradley can save Swansea from relegation this season it will prove to be a costly decision. Bradley failed to win in his first five league outings as well, I suppose you would have been shouting for him to be sacked just like you did with Conte?

Leicester winning.

@GeoffreyBoycott

They have only lost once at home in the league this season and have won all their Champions League home matches.

Hon Vardy…great finish.

One pass and City were cut open…shocking defending.

You’ve omitted to mention that the run of games under Guidolin leading up to his dismissal also featured a 2-0 loss at home to newly promoted Hull, a Hull side who currently lie second from bottom. There was also a loss to Southampton in the 5th game of the season, a game which represented a first league win of the season for a then struggling Southampton, who at that stage lay third from bottom (five places below Swansea) having only picked up two points in their first four games of the season.

I make it 6 league games without a win, before he was sacked and not 5 as you have incorrectly asserted. Usual sloppy presentation of facts and half truths on your part. There were five losses to Hull, Leicester, Southampton, Manchester City and Liverpool and a home draw with Chelsea sandwiched in the middle.

2-0 Leicester!

@GeoffreyBoycott

I suppose you’d have wanted Ranieri out the door last week?
