The ESRI thread(mainly gga bashing but also right wing bashing)

A spurious report prepared by a shady organization with links to the Clinton Foundation and part owned by a character who bailed out a GGA player.

The G The G … the GAA… multiple provincial stadiums and the national stadium. Attendances up and a flourishing championship… and now participation numbers up.

LOI is falling apart - FAI in massive debt ---- National team is fucked… and no home to play games.

Delaney has destroyed soccer in Ireland.

Lovely reading for rugby football.

Ah come one — that’s only the horsey boys on the wind up on TFK. No one really considers it a sport.

Misread the thread title and thought someone was having a go at Leo again. Well somebody more than likely is - just not on this thread.

Rugby is in great shape. We own the KPIs for pro sports; consistently strong major tv ratings, attendances at pro game, sponsorship, big brands (team and personal) and the most big moments.

Little Johnny being tremendous on the iPad and spending the rest of his day on the XBox shouldn’t hurt rugby football too much. Soccer is the big loser there as it had by far the greatest element of kids kicking the ball about on the street of all sports. Mr Delaney is doing some work on the underage game but soccer will have to get more organized. Rugby football is so well organized at its minis and schools grassroots that it isn’t a concern for me.

The National Broadband plan will send the declining GGA even more into crisis.
