Exactly - soccer is so skillful it needs kids out playing it - rugby doesnt require this at all as kids can fall in at any age… soccer ball is finished.

Rugby has seen huge growth at minis. The standard of Irish player has improved so much because the James Ryan’s of this world were playing rugby from 5 or 6 and not playing soccer ball till 13 as many would have before.

A really strong showing there for hurling really when you think about it, with 19% of those polled looking forward to next year’s All Ireland Championships. Especially when you consider the vast majority of the country are probably dreading next years AISFC.
