Sid
Could you please give me a synopsis of the goings on so far this season in this fabled trophy.
The first 4 qualifying rounds and the 1st round proper seemed to have passed us by sadly without notice.
Have we had any potential ginatkillings so far? Surely Hastings or Harrowgate will be dreaming of a trip to a premier league* side after their draw today. Games come no bigger surely than the clash of AFC Wimbledon and the MK Dons tomorrow with all the grudges associated…
This tournament, like its equivilant in tennis: The Championships and in golf: The Open is the only authentic knockout football tournament and in my opinion desrves a thread of its own
edit:
I meant of course Premier League and not premier league
Is that a question you are asking me or is it your attempt to make a statement?
Fuck off you inbred, illiterate, toothless troll.
It’s not my fault that the magic of the F.A, Cup is lost on you.
Go away and ride your nieces and nephews or whatever it is you get up to in your spare time and clear off out of here.
Have watched the last 10 mins of Newcastle BHA, Newcastle tactics are embarassing. Keeper has come out to take 3 freekicks from the half way line now, dreadful stuff.
Great to see Wayne Bridge still doing it at the top level :guns:
This competition is well past it’s sell by date. Now it’s just an annoying distraction from the league.
The top clubs can put out 2nd or 3rd string sides up until the later rounds and still win handily. Any club within a roar or relegation is happy to be out of the comp so they can concentrate on staying up. Any club fighting for promotion has the same attitude. There’s basically a handful of clubs in the middle of each division that give a shit, and even they will get the shit kicked out out of them when the big clubs field their first string.
