Martinez well on top of the tactical battle.
I think that was a penalty. The clown exaggerated his fall and that probably cost him. Players should be coached to fall over in a natural manner.
We are getting in between Kompany and Zabaleta all game. We just need to make it count.
He has both full backs in bother, neither getting any assistance from men in front of them and Kone has Kompany and Zabaletta in trouble time and time again. But they need to take their chance, because, well, there’s Gary Caldwell isnt there.
Agree he exaggerated the dive and was a clown, but it wasn’t a penalty for me.
McManaman is a decent player, lacks a bit of composure at times but he has something about him.
I think Alcaraz has been superb, very composed and technically good when striding out of defence with the ball.
Cunt should have been booked for diving.
Gareth Barry
I think his passing has been a bit wayward but he’s doing well defensively.
How tame was that shot? FFS.
Nasri has improved markedly since Roberto pulled him aside.
It was an embarrassment.
Surely this is the season McCarthy will move on? Best player on show in that admittedly dull first half.
As Irish supporters, where do we want him to go?
I want that 45 min of my life back… cunts.
What formation are Wigan playing? Espinoza is working the left flank pretty much on his own but McManaman is wide and advanced on the right in front of McArthur. Maloney’s playing centrally behind Kone too. Whatever it is, it’s working fairly well and they’ve had good control of the game for the most part.
MART-in-ez… for fuxake… the man has been in England since the 90’s.
The cunts should know how to pronounce his name by now.
Emmerson Boyce is the Barbadian Thuram.
That was excellent positioning by Nastasic for the McManaman chance, stood his ground, covered the far post angle - he’s top class.
I just don’t trust Espinoza
