The Fine Gael - A Sovereign Nation Once Again

Was humanity crossed I wonder?

with a bottle in either hand!

In her interview Bailey said she went down to reception “to ask for some plasters” after her fall.

I’d say the real problem was she was already plastered.

Finishing the end of it — A number of times she claimed it wasn’t fair as she couldnt speak about the case at the time - Then O’Rourke says, you can speak now — point plank refuses :joy:

She’s a working parent tho ,she has worked hard all her life and she’s a strong female politician which bothers some people apparently and she wont stop being a strong female politician going forward - pure fucking scutter

She’s a good gaa woman, don’t forget that.

funny enough, never see her at cuala

Wisely didnt mention her views on abortion. Surprised she didnt mention gay / equality rights given the landslide margin that won by.

But some people dont like the fact she’s a strong female politician - she’s more than likely on about the TFK misogyny crew here.

id say even bacik and @glasagusban winced when she wheeled that out.

If Madigan gets dragged into this it will be all the better.

I’d say we’ll see the pleadings by the weekend, then all bets are off as, if Madigan is involved, shell try to put the blame on bailey and vice versa.

I’d like to see Alan Farrell dragged into it

A load of Fine Gael TDs may have to have the whip(lash) withdrawn from them

starting to look like a August/September election

TDs aren’t going to have an election on their holliers

The Bailey story has killed the chance of an election until at least February I think

I heard David Davin Power trying to make out that the Bailey story cost Fine Gael at the polls on Friday

I think that’s totally wrong

Few people even knew about the story or were thinking about it - until yesterday morning that is

The story does now have the potential to badly affect Fine Gael if an election was held in the near future

It’s easy to understand, it publicly showcases arrogance and lying, and importantly it’s South Dublin stereotypes involved which provokes a backlash throughout the country - whereas the likes of Mr. Cash In A Bag in Monaghan don’t face a backlash because it’s “hup ya boy ya Hughie fair fuckin’ play to ya” - or the Healy Raes or Lowry or Mattie McGrath or Pee Flynn etc.

To quote a prominent Irish football journalist “90% of what is being said depends on who is saying it”

Bailey and Madigan are the worst types to have involved for Fine Gael here

while all of the above rings true for FG, surely mickey martin would be licking his lips at pulling the plug on leo’s life support, especially if Madigan can be definitively linked to this. then its a referendum on FG shenanigans

This is what women quotas does for you; entitled types such as Madigan and Bailey holding seats in the Dail

How Bailey got the nomination in the first place is funny, a lot of angry people in the FG DL Branch. The Baileys not surprisingly, get a mixed reception.
