Watching the Clancy Brothers and Tommy Makem reunion concert in Belfast in 1984 on dvd here. Outstanding entertainment.

I heard tommy and Liam in concert many years ago. I’ll never forget it

:+1::+1:. Finbarr Furey started his career with the Clancy’s after Tommy Makem left in 1969.

While I’m at it John Peels single of the year in 1972 was Her Father didn’t like me anyway by Eddie Furey. The song was written by Gerry Rafferty of Baker Street fame.
