Florenzi really made the difference for us tonight.
Like me and you, heās a Romanista too.

GRAZIE ROMA!!!
thanks for the updates mate
Absolutely sickening to see those bandwagon cunts over on the other thread. Embarrassing carry on.

A bunch of anti-Italian bastards who are taking great pleasure in deriding real Romanistas and our heroes.
I despise each and every one of them, sullying Tottiās name is bad enough but if only Francesco could see what they are writing about Mr. Zeman - a man he has such deep affection for and owes so much to - and they are associating his name to it.
What we must remember here is that weeds grow fast - but they die quickly.
We, on the other han will always be here.

A shower of treacherous bastards
Florenzi, De Rossi, Benatia and Pjanic are now all one yellow card away from missing the match with Sassuolo at home. Call me cynical bit I could see some of these players picking up a card in the game against Torino.
Castan will miss out on the trip to Torino so I would imagine Nico will step in. Maicon will be available after his suspension and hopefully Gervinho will be ready as well. I would expect both Florenzi and Balzaretti to also return to the lineup. Destro and Totti are not likely to be ready until the home match against Cagliari on the 25th November.
Time for some focus on some of most exciting young players currently out on loan with other clubs.
Matteo Politano seems to be the player making the biggest impression, he has been banging in the goals recently and if he continues in this form then he may well be back at Roma next season. He is a player very much in the mould of Florenzi, he has terrific energy and pace and a great eye for goal. He is a more natural attacker than Florenzi however and is left footed. He is currently with Pescara where he has been playing as the right sided attacker of a front three.
Here is a video of him in action with Perugia last season.

Federico Viviani has also had a good start to life with Pescara where he is on loan this season. Unfortunately he is currently out injured but he has impressed with both Pescara and the u-21 national team where he has shown himself to be deadly from free kicks. His role is that of a typical Italian regista and if he continues to develop one would hope he will find himself back at Roma next season as an able deputy for De Rossi.
Also on loan at Pescara are left back Paolo Frascatore and winger Giammario Piscitella. Donāt think either will make the grade at Roma. Frascatore could turn out to be a fine left back but will find his chances prohibited by the fact we have another young left back in the team who is rated ahead of him in Dodo and the fact that we are apparently going to loan out in January and bring in an additional left back.
Luca Antei is currently doing extremely well at Sassuolo, cementing his place as a starting centre back for both the u-21 side and Sassuolo. The experience in Serie A will no doubt do him good but I donāt think we will be seeing him back at Roma with young defensive duo Romagnoli and Jedvaj very highly rated at Trigoria.
Nico Lopez hasnāt had much of a chance at Udinese yet while Valerio Verre now seems to be acclimatising to his new surroundings at Palermo.
Caprari, Romagnoli and Jedvaj have yet to get any opportunities under Garcia yet and Iād expect the former two will probably be loaned out in January. Ricci and Di Mariano are two other players who have broken through to the first team this season but I would expect to remain at the club in the background for the time being.

fantastic post and I agree with it all
I had a look at the Roma for slow learners thread and not one post is more than 8 words
Great little piece on the Lupi di Londra supporters club on Sunday Night European Football.
Torino: Padelli; Darmian, Glik, Moretti, DāAmbrosio; Gazzi, Basha; Cerci,Meggiorini, Barreto, El Kaddouri
Torino bench: Gomis, Berni, Bovo, Maksimovic, Masiello, Pasquale, Brighi,Bellomo, Immobile
Roma: De Sanctis; Maicon, Benatia, Burdisso, Balzaretti; De Rossi,Strootman, Bradley; Pjanic, Borriello, Florenzi
Roma bench: Lobont, Skorupski, Romagnoli, Jedvaj, DodĆ², Torosidis,Marquinho, Taddei, Ricci, Di Mariano, Caprari, Ljajic
Be interesting to see whether Torino persist with the 3-5-2 they have adopted this season or go to a back 4. DāAmbrosio will be a back threat getting forward from the left while Cerci will obviously be the danger man with the form he has been in this season.
Iād love if Burdisso scored tonight and my gut feeling tells me he will.
Balzaretti very lucky to escape without a yellow there as he blatantly handles the ball in order to stop Barreto being put in down the line.
Great technique there from Florenzi and his volley goes just over.
Benatia will miss the Sassuolo game through suspension.
Strootman gives us the lead after a nicely worked move from a corner.
First with the updates.
Borriello has been superb so far. Held the ball up very and well and his touch and link-up play has been a big improvement on Thursday. I would still rather he stayed in the penalty box more as we miss that focal point there.
