The GAA Championship National Anthem Monitoring Commission

Normally not a fan of the operatic version but that was good. A solid 8/10

He’s some operator this fella. Nailed the Star Spangled Banner as well.

I wonder did @dodgy_keeper take a knee for the Star-Spangled banner

Cracking version for Monaghan v Cavan

Seemed like a good rendition in Innovate Wexford Park today, I’ll give it a good 7.5/10.

It’s been a dodgy year for anthems thus far. A ho-hum orchestral recording at the Limerick-Clare game, and it sounded like a bunch of junior infants on tin-whistles were on duty below at Walsh Park in the previous round. Hoping for a big performance out of the band in Thurles tomorrow.

Mags Darcy’s brother sang it

Mick D’Arcy is lead singer with Corner Boys. Folk/rock/trad type collective.

At least they try unlike the rugger west brits

The days of sectarian butchery in Ulster may thankfully be over but you can always rely on Amhran na bhFiann to be hilariously butchered at the Ulster final.

A lovely little tradition.

The lady that sang it could pass for a butcher too.

In the town of the Butcher Boy

Decent effort made in Omagh tonight.

Classic Ulster effort there. The echo in the PA system really completing the effect

Christ

On the nastiest day imaginable, some young cunt is dragging the absolute bollocks out of the anthem in Tyrone. The players are seething :joy:

A fair aul butchering there in Salthill

Mighty effort there in Wexford Park. Hon Martin’s now.
