The GAA Championship National Anthem Monitoring Commission

John Maughan has a BIG MATCH voice, though that was anything but a big match.

Castlerea brass & reed band with a slightly up-tempo version from The Hyde. 18k attendees….:+1:

17k in Ennis. Nice tempo to the anthem

Eimear Magee with a fine rendition there in Clones backed by the Mayobridge girls band. 8/10.

Cork langers gave a rousing rendition all thru the minutes silence

It’s hard to bate a pipe band rendition of the national anthem. 10/10 from the TUSGG.

The proper respect the anthem deserves.

The only pity is the boys weren’t mic’d up for the parade, you could barely hear The Minstrel Boy as the teams went round the pitch. A learning for next time.

Mariah Careyesque rendition from the Athletic Grounds there, a solid Ulster offering.

Maudling auld effort here in Parnell Park

Enquiry called into the rewriting of our anthem at the Senior camogie county final in Ballinasloe

Not GAA but a fine mangling of the lyrics of Amhrán na bhFiann before the under 21 soccer game in Cork.

You can’t have an Ulster team involved without some lass doing the honours over a crackly microphone.

Fittingly low key affair there for the Club Championship

Uh oh good start for the Dall

Vintage Ulster at Healy Park.

They just get it.

It’s about the muffled echo, the strangled vowels and the plainness of the female singer.

Child abuse in Wexford Park.

Shite talk, she did a great job.

I didn’t offer an opinion on whether she did a good job or not.

A strong echo on the rendition ahead of the Sigerson Final. Like listening to it twice.
