Classic Ulster fare there. Molly something or other from the Killyclogher club correctly pronounced “Gael” as “gyeeeeel” and not even the Healy Park voice strangling machine could disturb the sweetness of her voice.

I’m hoping it was a best looking girl at mass type who mistakenly believed she was Mariah Carey and utterly mangled the anthem through a muffled, echoey sound system.
That is what you expect and demand in Ulster.

I hope it was some generic lass named Síofra Gormley from the Ballymacnab club. Finola O’Hagan from Portadown Tír na nÓg would also be acceptable.
She was good looking (top 2 or 3 at mass).
Probably a lovely singer but no real gaps between the words so it just seemed like a big long noise. Even the noise managed to have a nordy accent though
