Unfair I’d say there kp. From personally my own Limerick perspective looking up I would say Mayo and Galway people are of the same kith and kin. Pure and solid west of Ireland people.
Not true. Mayo people are inferior to Galway people in almost every way. They scab a living off us and it kills them.

Galway and Mayo is like one county to be honest.
I’ve a few friends in Headford who know that lad. He was known as the phantom shitter in school. Was finally caught in the act of shitting in some fella’s tractor 
Id disagree. North galway and mayo are extremely similar, south galway is more like clare than most the rest of galway, south galway and clare were always one traditional kingdom anyway. North east galway hate roscommon, but are quite like roscommon people and the landscape is the same, west offaly and east galway people also have a strong mutual dislike but again have the same personality, very sound. Connemara and the islands are a world apart from everywhere. All are different from, and look down on, the city. Its more of a federation than a county.

I married a woman from North Galway. They are a different breed alright. The hatred of Mayo is gas, it pure venom.
He lives in Adare now
