The Galway Criticism Thread

They overspent by 180000 euros “on meetings” last year. Must be some amount of lattes

What the fuck is Crown Square? They are moving city hall all the way out to Mervue?

Tis miles out alright - saving themselves from traffic I suppose

Thats Rhatigans ‘hole in the ground’ site out on the old Monivea road. I wonder if it’s a full move or will they end up with 2 offices… The city/county boundary was moved recently so they’ll be getting a bigger budget going forward now which probably means more staff. Do they need all that parking? Aren’t they the ones that are meant to be pushing the green agenda :face_with_peeking_eye:

City Hall site would be worth a few bob though.

Ethical behaviour of councillors has dropped since Stroke departed the scene.

Good wholesome day’s fun had by all in Eyre Square today, so I see.

Can’t blame the Dubs or the immigrants for this one.

What clans are having a disagreement in Galway this past week?

The Ward’s and the Smurf McDonagh’s. Long simmering feud that has completely boiled over recently.
